Possible Tsunami threat to Sri Lanka will be known after 7.00 p.m
According to the news we are receiving from the Meteorological Department there isn’t a Tsunami threat to Sri Lanka. Yet the department requests the public to stay alert till 7 P.M
Kirinda story is a lie
Sri Lanka coastal preservation authority states that the story about the Kirinda is a lie. There was a rumour that the water level went down in the sea around Kirinda. The first to state this story to the media was the Minister of Fisheries.
Boats in Tangalle harbour have been floated away in the water
Rupavahini reporter Palitha Kulasiri stated that the boats in the Tangalle harbour floated away due to the unusual waves from the sea and thus the people have been found not at ease.

MINISTER OF FISHERIES SAYS THAT THE KIRINDA SEA HAVE GONE BACKWARDS
The Minister of Fisheries, Rajitha Senaratne had stated that the water in the sea around Kirinda have been reduced and the sea has gone backwards. He also had stated that he has taken security action against the prevailing situation.
