A horrific news story has been reported from Ivannagar village, near Junagadh in Gujarat, India, which has shocked the entire community. This unfortunate incident, which occurred in a middle-class family, was caused by a 19-year-old girl's secret love affair.

The eldest daughter in a family of four children, this young woman was not very interested in education and was employed.

When the head of the household returned home after finishing work in the evening, he found his wife dead in a pool of blood with severe head injuries. Although there were no signs of any theft in the house, the fact that the house's CCTV system was deactivated an hour before the incident raised strong suspicions for the police. Accordingly, lengthy investigations revealed that Meenakshi, the 19-year-old daughter of the deceased woman, had been having a secret love affair with a young man she met at her workplace.

On the day of the incident, the daughter strategically mixed her father's sleeping pills into her mother's food to make her sleep. After her mother fell into a deep sleep, Meenakshi called her boyfriend to the house. However, unexpectedly, the mother woke up and saw her daughter with her boyfriend, became extremely angry, immediately chased the young man out of the house, and threatened and scolded her daughter, saying she would tell her father about the incident.

Driven by fear of punishment from her father and anger, the daughter severely hit her mother on the head with an iron rod found in the house's storage room. The mother died on the spot, and the daughter pretended to be asleep in her room, as if she knew nothing. Later, based on her contradictory statements and evidence during police questioning, the daughter and her boyfriend, who assisted her, were arrested by the police. At the end of the trial related to this incident, the court sentenced the convicted daughter and her boyfriend to life imprisonment.
