JEENA MADAM TRANSFERED FROM WELIKADA TO KALUTARA PRISON

Jail change for Jeena Madam, who was provided with a luxurious life at Welikada:

Jeena Madam who was running a luxurious ‘Brothel’ house at the Liberty Plaza building fled away when it was raided by the Police a few months ago. However before long she had surrendered to the Police. Jeena Madam’s case is still been investigated by the courts. As she was not allowed bail she was retained at the Welikada prison.
A Senior Official had visited the Welikada prison to investigate into a fire that had broken out recently. During his visit he had observed that Jeena Madam had been treated in a very special manner in a secluded place with a luxurious settee, which resembled not like a place for a remand prisoner but that of a King’s palace.
When the Senior Prison Official inquired why she was given such treatment it was revealed that it was due to orders from high officials as her customers were all influential persons. The Senior Prison Officer had said this special treatment to her is very unfair by the other prisoners and had given immediate instructions to transfer her to the Kalutara prison.
It is reported that she had on his instructions was transferred last Sunday to the Kalutara prison where she is treated in the same manner as other prisoners
