Grama Sevaka takes nude photographs of 20 year old girl

Grama Sevaka’s duties are to look into and assist all those in his division in various matters. However it is reported that a Grama Sevaka from the Galnewa Divisional Secretariat Division has deviated from his normal duties by visiting a house well known to him when only a 20 year old girl was all alone.
He had gone to the extent of asking her to remove her clothes and taken nude photographs of hers. He had warned the girl by saying “if you let anyone know about taking of these photographs, he will distribute copies of it to all the residents of the area and that he will not allow her to live in this division”.
The incident is reported from Kalachchiya, Kumbukwewa,Thulane area belonging  to the Divisional Secretarial division in Galnewa.It is learnt that the Grama Sevaka is also a person living in this area and is a father of two children. He is supposed to know the family of this 20 year old girl very well and is also a close friend of her brother and hence he is familiar with the movements of all her family members. He had gone to this house knowing very well that only the 20 year old girl was all alone in the house.
Without any fear and reluctance the 20 year old girl had lodged an entry in the Police Station in this regard. When the Police came in search of him he had fled from his dwelling house. However after a few days he was apprehended by the Police while he was in the Galnewa town area. He is to be produced before courts very soon.
