Director post for Sanjeewani Weerasingha at broadcasting corporation

Mr. Sisira Munasingha and Mrs. Sanjeewani Weerasingha have been appointed as members of the director board of Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation while Mr. Rohana Deva Perera has been made chairman. Presentation of appointments were made on 29th morning presided by minister of higher education, innovation, information and mass media Mr. Bandula Gunawardena at the mass
media premises. 

Mrs. Sanjeewani Weerasingha who is a singer, actress and announcer became more popular by singing responsive songs. She became popular by singing responsive songs to the strain of music of popular singers at that time. Mrs. Sanjeewani has made a name as an artiste who was engaged in publicity activities launched for Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa's victory luring last presidential election period. She also became popular for having seriously criticising Mr. Sajith Premadasa's 'pad promise'. The criticism made by her about Ranjan Ramanayaka's voice cuts recently made her popular over the internet. This presentation was made by minister of communication, Mr. Bandula Gunawardena.
