Flight that goes to Wuhan, China returns -- Wuhan aircraft that flew to Wuhan ... lands at Mattala

The special aircraft belonging to Sri Lankan airways (Ul-1423) that brought 33 Sri Lankan students and relatives of their families landed at Mahinda Rajapaksa international airport, Mattala this morning (1). These students would be placed under quarantine and screened fora period of 14 days separately at building situated in Diyatalawa army camp. After the students arrived at Mattala international airport around 7.42 this morning, they
were subjected to a special examination at the airport subsequent to which steps were taken to transport them to Diyatalawa army camp amidst security. 

What Sri Lanka army said was that all facilities were provided for the students to be retained at Diyatalawa hospital as and when necessary. A screening is to be conducted for a period of a fortnight after being kept there. A tribute has been offered to the staff of Sri Lankan Airways by social media for having brought the local students who were exposed to risk in a foreign land for their studies to this island once again.
