Rumours about Abdul Razeek, Hizbullah  giving support to Gotabhaya ... true?

Abdul Razeek who was accused of having insulted Buddhism and was in fact representing a Muslim organisation called Ceylon Thawheed Jamath is supposed to be extending his support to presidential candidate Gotabhaya Rajapaksa according to a video that has been released, causing some sensation in the process. 

Various rumours went round recently about Abdul Razeek to the effect that under the charges that
Lord Buddha consumed human flesh, 'Theruwan' means three stones and that a young Hindu girl was abducted by force and an attempt was made to convert her to another religion. He is well-known as someone who represents an extremist Muslim organisation. 

That he renders direct support to Gitabhaya Rajapaksa is mentioned by joining in with Ashen Vlogs YouTube channel. A discussion carried out with him is observed there. Whatever it is, media spokesman of Sri Lanka Podu Jana Peramuna Dalas Alahapperuma has come forward to comment on this news. What he says is that this rumour is false. Dalas Alahapperuma has explained that Abdul Razeek has not stated that he is to support his party and that the rumour spread saying that he would be accepting his support which actually a trump card used for an insult on his party by his opposition party. 

In the meantime, after being subjected to as a person who provided shelter to extremists during the past Easter attack, Hizbullah even had to relinquish his position as governor of east and even if he comes forward as a presidential candidate this time votes of all his supporters would be directed on behalf of Gotabhaya Rajapaksa which news was explained by member of parliament S.B. Dissanayaka at a media briefing created some uproar. 

The above rumours too have been dismissed by Dalas Alahapperuma and through a message directed by Namal Rajapaksa to the social media that this rumour is a bogus one and that a presidential candidate promoting another person or providing support is contradictory to the law.
