Anura Senanayake from prison to J'pura hospital
A former senior deputy inspector of police Anura Senanayake was remanded as a suspect in the Wasim Thajudeen murder case for instructing his
subordinate officer's to conceal evidence.
At the time he was ordered to be remanded his attorneys had requested him to admitted to the prison hospital on the grounds that he needs medical attention.The medical officers who had checked his health had added that he is not having any serious issue about his health.
However on the 15th instant his attorneys had once more had requested that he be admitted to a hospital for treatment.When he was examined by a medical team, it had revealed that his previous ailment had aggravated and had recommended that he be admitted to a hospital.
Accordingly he had been admitted to the Sri Jayewardenepura hospital for treatment.
