Ranil named as a rotten ‘Durian’ fruit - Dilan

Perera had made certain drastic comments as appended below at the media conference.

“If Ranil Wickremasinghe’s minority government cannot bring in the 20th amendment to the constitution, hand over the government to us. We could have it passed who have a majority of Members in the Parliament. Then we could have the 20th amendment to the constitution passed within 30 days.

Ranil Wickremasinghe is like a rotten “Durian” fruit. A ripe “Durian” fruit smells but is very tasty. But a rotten ‘Durian” fruit is smelling but cannot be eaten.”
