I didn't think that what I spoke to Kohli that moment ....would go this far
-- Sanga reveals the truth
Kumar Sangakkara had entered into some dialogue with Virat Kohli in the middle of the pitch when Sri Lanka won the T20 Cup and subsequent to it being broadcast by the media, rumours began to spread as to whether Sangakkara has told Kohli some negative thing. Various rumours had been woven around this topic in Facebook. In the meantime, after Sangakkara arrived in Sri Lanka he had spoken about this matter Live yesterday on FM radio which is an English radio channel.
The answer Kumar Sangakkara gave was that since Virat Kohli played successfully right throughout the tournament he made it a point to specially wish Virat Kohli and that nothing took place beyond it. Sangakkara also said that Virat Kohli was a splendid cricketer. In the meantime, Sangakkara mentioned that when the Indian team was heading towards defeat and when Virat Kohli's efforts were unsuccessful he (Sanga) recorded his half-century at which moment it was Virat Kohli who congratulate him first. Kumar Sangakkara emphasises that Virat Kohli is a humble player who would carry the whole team on his shoulders and go on playing.
