Stones pelted at Yuvraj Singh's home

'Return' given ....
stones hurled at Yuvraj's house

When the Indian team lost to Sri Lanka yesterday, people of that country as usual launched an attack by hurling stones at players in the Indian team who had shown weakness in the game.

As reported early this morning, it was a case of stones being thrown at Yuvraj Singh's home in Chandigar by village-folk in the neighbourhood.

A large crowd of people who gathered in front of Yuvraj Singh's home in Manimajra area in Chandigar had started shouting, protesting against him and it is understood that they had later hurled stones at the roof of the house.

The reason for his sort of behaviour  by these cricket fans is that Yuvraj who always displays an aggressive batting performance at normal times had yesterday collected only 11 runs within the space of 21 balls.

Yuvraj's father Yogaraj who came out of the house during the time stones were being pelted had addressed the unruly crowd saying that it was a defeat not only of his son .... that the others too did not play well and not to blame only them.

The Indian Express News Service reports that by then strong police protection was afforded to Yuvraj Singh's home in order to control the turbulent situation.
