Base-jumping from WTC Colombo

 

Two foreigners were successful in performing the Base-jump sport yesterday for the first time in Sri Lanka. They having strapped their parachutes on to their bodies jumped down from the World Trade Centre in Colombo and landed safely on a bare plot of land closeby.

Canadian national Christian Neumann and American national Gerry Parry ho performed this act said that they would like to promote this sport in Sri Lanka in the future. It is of special importance to note that Canadian Christian Neumann has been born in Sri Lanka.
