2012 ECONOMIC FINANCIAL INFORMATION REPORT NAMES GOSSIPLANKANEWS.COM AS THE MOST POPULAR WEB SITE IN SRI LANKA

According to the latest statistics and financial report of 2012 released at the United Nations trade and development seminar (UNCTAD) it had revealed that the Gossiplankanews.com web site has been named as the most popular web site in Sri Lanka.
It has been emphasised that in the developing countries the standards of information technology and computer software in Sri Lanka had increased to unprecedented levels has been prominently stated in this 142 page annual survey report of this report.
It also had revealed that there are 13 lakhs of FACE BOOK accounts have been opened in Face Book web site. It had also been stated most people in the world use the Face book, Google, U TUBE, and Wikipedia. As the most favourite web sites in Sri Lanka sites according to the ‘Alexa’ classification the Gossiplankanews.com has been rated as the most viewed and popular web site where people log into has been mentioned in this report.
It is also stated that ‘Elakiri.Com web site is also among 20 other web sites in Sri Lanka which are popular and into most people log into. It has also been emphasised that by the year 2012 there had been a tremendous increase and a noticeable incline in the usage of computers along with it the internet broadband users, computer software and with them  the internet users have also increased accordingly and in relation. With these the foreign news are promptly known to most Sri Lankans in the above categories who are found in abundance.
