THREE SUSPECTS WHO ARE SUSPECTED FOR THE ROBBERY OF THE MUSEUM HAD BEEN ARRESTED

A number of stuff that were robbed from the Museum including a ring had been found in Piliyandala

The Police have been able to find a number of items that were stolen from the National Museum from Piliyandala last night. The Police have arrested two women who have travelled in a three wheeler as they have got a tip off about them. The Police have found these items which have been stolen from the museum and they have confessed that they were planning to hide the stolen goods near Bolgoda River. One of the women has been working at Colombo Urban Council and the other had been working for an Air line. The three wheeler driver has been an underworld thug had also been arrested.
A ring carved in gems and some swords which are said to have been stolen from the museum had been found near them. They have been arrested and are inquiries are conducted to find the rest of the goods that were stolen.
