“There’s no doubt, Duminda will be produced before courts as soon as he lands in Sri Lanka.”- Duminda’s lawyer promises
The trial on Bharatha Lakshman’s murder was held on today and Duminda Silva’s lawyer, Hemantha Warnakulasooriya said before Colombo Courts that Duminda Silva had undergone a surgery today and is still hospitalized in Singapore. By any chance if he recovers fully and if he is able to come to Sri Lanka, he will be produced before courts.
At this moment, a question was raised by the lawyer Tirantha Waraliyadda from Bharatha Lakshman’s side. It was that “Isn’t there a way for the police to arrest him?” Then the police in reply, had told that the relevant legal documents have been forwarded to the Attorney- General and that they haven’t received an order from him.
The case was postponed till the 4th of September.
