Pannipitiya Aunty nabbed for supplying Prostitutes through telephone communications
On a tip off and information, a lady ’44 year old Pannipitiya Aunty”, who supplies prostitutes through appointments over the phone had been nabbed by the Police and arrested last Saturday.A 24 year old Male assistant who accompanies the young prostitutes aged 19, 20 and 23 years to the clients was also arrested. Those who are in the picture are the “Aunty” with three girls. These girls are natives of Bulathsinhala, Tantirimale and Kosgoda areas, it was revealed.
On confirmed appointments over the phone these girls are accompanied by the Assistant to rooms in hotels in the Pannipitiya and Kaduwela for a minimum payment of Rs 5000/-This is the manner the prostitution business had been done.
On a tip off the OIC of Police Emergency Service of Nugegoda Police Division, Bathiya Jayasinghe had deployed decoys and trapped this prostitution business. The girls had confessed that they had come to Colombo in search of jobs and as they could not find jobs they have consented for this business as an alternative.
All are to be produced before the Homagama Magistrates courts.
