MENAKA SAYS NO ABOUT NEHARA

There is no truth in the story about the connection between me and Nehara
We sat together as we got two passes in adjoining seats

Recently it was news that popular actress’s marriage with Nirmal was broken because of her association with actor Menaka Rajapaksa. However Nehara at an interview with Gossiplanka website denied the allegation totally and said there is no other friendship but they are very close friends only .After the incident Nehara had with Nirmal, she had filed a divorce case at Nuwara Eliya High Courts.
During the finals of the ‘Dance Stars Dance’ finals contest held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium both of them had sat together and watched the show. There were photographs published in the media. When rumours were spread that Nehara and Menaka had sat together, some may have come to a conclusion to think that the earlier story was true. Although having a wife and a little daughter and when at a time Nehara had almost separated from her husband it was a interesting topic for rumour- mongers
In the Lakbima ‘media window’ tabloid edition had specifically said that this story is not true, saying that I am having a very happy family life with my wife and a little daughter just 8 months old. Menaka had added that Nehara and he are portraying the main roles in the Tele Drama ‘Nil Ahase’ produced by Swarnavahini, and as ‘Dance Stars Dance’ contest is also produced by Swarnavahini, they had issued us two invitations for the show and we were compelled to sit side by side. Menaka had added “we are still good friends like earlier”
