A BROTHEL HOUSE IN THE PRETEXT OF A MASSAGE CLINIC RAIDED

‘Green Herbal Health Centre’ at Koswatta,Nawala raided

A popular massage clinic which had run successfully for sometime patronised by University Students, VIP’s and even Underworld criminals was raided by the Mirihana police yesterday. This famous Green Herbal Health Centre, was even advertised in the newspapers as a place for treatment for herbal health care. However it had been revealed to supply prostitutes at comparatively nominal prices. For a massage the fee was only Rs 1000/.
The so called heath Care centre had deployed the services of 5 women prostitutes. They were paid Rs 15000/ monthly as salaries and were supposed to get a ‘tip’ around Rs 150/ from each client. The authorities have instructed the prostitutes to induce and stimulate the clients to get a much bigger ‘tip’. This was revealed by the arrested supervisor who added that for a day one of the prostitutes cater to 5-6 clients, most of whom arrive on appointment for the service.
This ‘Green Herbal Health centre’ was located at No 21,De Mel Road, Koswatta, Nawala, Rajagiriya, in a large building consisted of several rooms. The rent paid for this Heath Centre was Rs 60,000/-.It was supposed to be patronised by University Undergraduates, Senior officials of various Institutions and famous underworld gangsters.
At the time it was raided the Police had arrested the Supervisor, three prostitutes and two clients who had come for herbal massages. It had revealed that one customer was a Doctor by profession.
For further interrogation the suspects are to be produced before courts.
