GYAN INVOLVED IN A TUSSLE IN KANDY

Gyan had clashed with a group of youngsters during a musical evening at Gatambe in Kandy:

The ITN mega Teledrama artistes had taken part in a friendly cricket match in Gatambe, Kandy the day before yesterday. Gyan Wickramatillake had participated in it and subsequently in the night in a musical evening.
The incident has been reported to have taken place while the musical show was in progress, after a heated argument he has had with some youngsters after a stone was hurled on to his car. Gayan had been with three others colleagues, when a group of about 20 youngsters had assaulted him. He has sustained bruises to his chest area and his clothes were torn. A mobile phone of one of his colleague actors was lost during the tussle.
The incident has still not been reported to the Police. However the Chairman of the ITN and the organiser of the event, Minister Keheliya Rambukwella have been notified of this incident.
