‘Scotia Prince’ passenger shipping service between Sri Lanka and India has commenced
‘Scotia Prince’ luxury passenger ferry service between India and Sri Lanka began yesterday. This inaugural service had begun from Thuthukude port in India late last evening and had arrived in Sri Lanka this morning. This passenger ship is named ‘Scotia Prince’ and it belongs to a reputed shipping company in Europe called the ‘Scotia Prince’ passenger shipping company.
It is reported that the journey takes 12 hours and could accommodate 1000 passengers and is scheduled to have two such journeys every week.
