A highly controversial and regrettable situation has arisen across the entire country regarding the mysterious and suspicious death of a young female physiotherapist, who was employed at Ampara General Hospital, at a lodge located in the Nuwara Eliya area. Investigating officers, who suspected from initial examinations that the young woman's death was not a natural one, now strongly suspect, with substantial evidence, that it was a brutal murder committed by strangulation by an individual.

The individual who posed as her boyfriend, and is directly suspected of committing this heinous crime, has fled the area and is in hiding. The Police Department is currently seeking direct public assistance to swiftly locate and apprehend him. Although police teams have so far been unable to bring him to justice due to his extremely cunning disappearance from the area, investigating officers have already succeeded in uncovering many of his fraudulent activities and true details.

The young woman who was mysteriously and tragically murdered is Shamya Darshani, a 34-year-old unmarried physiotherapist who worked at Ampara General Hospital. Her sudden and untimely death has caused deep shock and sorrow among her colleagues in her professional field as well as the entire society. Meanwhile, the final rites for the deceased physiotherapist were performed in a very sorrowful manner at the family's common cemetery in Weligama, amidst the grief of a large number of relatives, friends, and residents. A large crowd gathered to pay their last respects to the body during the funeral, and tears streamed from everyone's eyes, expressing profound pain over the injustice she suffered.

According to preliminary investigations conducted by police officers, it has been clearly revealed that the suspected boyfriend visited the apartment where the young woman was staying on the 16th. Investigating officers state that CCTV camera footage installed in the housing complex clearly shows the suspect carrying the young woman, who had collapsed unconscious for some reason, during the afternoon of that day. It is also revealed that shortly before this unfortunate incident, the deceased young woman had called her elder brother, informing him that she was severely ill. She called her brother around 3:30 PM that day and said, "Lokkayiye, I'm not well, please come," before disconnecting the call. Although this person appeared before the deceased young woman under the very false and appealing name 'Dineth Dissanayake,' the deep searches and investigations conducted by the police have fully revealed his true identity. According to the suspect's national identity card and official documents, his real name is Jayasundara Mudiyanselage Champika Shriyan Jayasundara, and police official reports clearly state that he is a permanent resident of the Narammala area.

He always wore a wig, completely altering his real physical appearance, and moved around in society. Investigation teams suspect that he introduced himself as a software engineer in a high-ranking job to attract young women very effectively. The Police Department strongly emphasizes that the free movement of such cunning, fraudulent, and heinous individuals in society poses a serious threat to all women.
