A new circular regarding student admission for grades other than 5-6.

A proposal submitted by the Prime Minister, in her capacity as the Minister in charge of Education, has received Cabinet approval. Accordingly, a new series of circular instructions is to be issued regarding the admission of school students from Grade 2 to Grade 11, excluding Grades 5 and 6.

This new decision has been taken by focusing on several practical issues reported during the implementation of Circular No. 27/2025, which was previously issued through the Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education.

This step has been taken in parallel with the new educational reforms to be introduced in 2026. Through this, the government aims to further streamline the student admission process in schools and to properly maintain the approved maximum student capacity for classrooms.
