Police have also taken steps to enforce the law against the registered owners who provided motorcycles to the arrested underage youths. These suspects, residents of Kirigampamunuwa, Weniwelkola, Kumbuka, and Homagama areas, were scheduled to be produced before the Kesbewa Magistrate's Court.
