How Much Rain Drenched Each Region in the Past 24 Hours? A Detailed Weather Report Table

 During the 24-hour period ending at 08:30 AM on November 27, 2025, very heavy rainfall was experienced in many parts of the island. The highest rainfall recorded during this period was a significant 226.1 mm in the Polonnaruwa District, with Badulla reporting 197.4 mm and Vavuniya recording 184.3 mm.

Additionally, Nuwara Eliya town recorded 179.5 mm of rainfall and a minimum temperature of 15.2 degrees Celsius, while Monaragala and Batticaloa areas received heavy rains of 174.0 mm and 169.2 mm respectively.
