Due to the prevailing heavy rains, the Department of Examinations has announced that the Advanced Level Examination will not be held today, tomorrow, and also the day after tomorrow (29th).
The examinations scheduled to be held today (27), tomorrow (28), and the day after tomorrow (29) include
- Home Economics 2
- Information and Communication Technology 1 & 2
- Accounting 2
- Arabic 2
- Chinese 2
- Sri Lankan History 1
- Malay 2
- Hindi 1
- Korean 1
Alternative dates will be provided for these examinations.
Meanwhile, due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions across the island, a holiday has been declared for all Muslim schools for today (27) and tomorrow (28).
The Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education announced this in a statement. While preparations are currently underway to hold the examination again on December 1st, a prior announcement will be made if it is further postponed.
