Saying they are from Walana ... abducts two women

An instance is reported from Habarana where the name of Walana Anti Corruption Unit which has won acclaim for having conducted the most number of raids on brothels was misused and have played a role by raiding a massage clinic and ultimately kidnapped three women for sexual
pleasure. 

Coming in a jeep similar to that of the police and saying that they are police officers of Walana Anti Corruption Unit in Colombo two women who were in service at the massage centre were abducted day before yesterday (12) afternoon. One of those the women who was so kidnapped has managed to get away from them and has lodged a complaint with Habarana police. The police who got into prompt action and has taken into custody the other woman while hiding in a house in Sigiriya area and the other persons who were involved in the abduction and the jeep were taken into custody, Habarana police said. 

It was two women aged 33 years and 34 years who were in service at the massage centre which was being maintained along Habarana main road in Habarana police division who were so abducted. According to an investigation conducted by Habarana police over this incident, it was revealed that these two females were in service at the massage centre situated at Habarana town for a period of time. Day before yesterday afternoon, three persons who came in a jeep suddenly had said that they were from Walana Anti Corruption Unit and that they need to inspect the place. 

Later they had dragged two women who were there and put them inside the jeep after which the jeep was driven towards Colombo. Afterwards they had put them inside a room in a house in Sigiriya and thy had enjoyed liquor. During this process having opened a door of the house, one woman has managed to scoot away and has got into a bus plying along that road and coming to Habarana police has made a complaint. 

The police who swiftly got into action according to the complaint had reached the location concerned and even when police arrived, the abductors were enjoying liquor after which police had taken the jeep and those people into custody. Police were able to find that those persons were from Kurunegala, Denigama, Trincomalee, Nelsonpura and Udaperaherawaththa, Buttala and were of the ages of 58, 41 and 31 years.
