Ravin secures 3 'A's in Bio and switches to medicine and then turns to Maths and secures 3 'A's once again with hope of going to NASA
A student who secures 3 'A's in Bio Science at advanced level earlier with the desire of joining NASA institute somehow or other has ended up by facing the advanced level in the Maths stream and passed with three 'A's.
A.S. Ravin Weeranayaka living in Poddala, Galle is a student who is in the first year at Peradeniya medical faculty. "I am now a first year student at Peradeniya university following studies in medicine.
My desire is to join NASA institute. I came to know that having passed in two fields is a qualification to join NASA institute. Therefore I wanted to sit for the advanced level exam as a private candidate in the Maths stream once again while already having passed the Science stream.

Really I am happy about this achievement of mine. I wish to make mention in this instance of the patronage offered me by my parents. Not only that ... I wish to bring to memory the patronage given me by Richmond College in this connection. Whatever it is, if someone tries, there is nothing that can't be achieved. I also took action to pass this exam as a target for my objective. Finally I was able to achieve my target".
Ravin is the eldest in a family comprising a twin brother and another sister. Ravin's father is S.H. Weeranayaka. He happens to be a technical officer by profession at the railway department. His mother Nilanthi Samanlatha has spent her time for domestic activities like her own children. Ravin and his brother appeared for the advanced level exam last year in Bio Science stream. Ravin's twin brother passed in the Maths stream and qualified to enter the university.
Whatever it is, this time Ravin appears for the advanced level exam this time in the Maths stream. It is something special that Ravin was able to secure three 'A' passes on that occasion. In any case it has not been stated at any place whether any such methodology is in operation to join NASA institute.
