Spy service too fails ... Rajitha - Chathura missing
The criminal investigation department say that former minister of health services Mr. Rajitha Senaratna who is under arrest is not to be found in his house either.
CID officers have visited his homes in Colombo and Kalutara and those in those houses have not come to any of those houses upto then. Officers of criminal investigation department have yesterday (25) visited houses of former minister of health, Mr. Rajitha Senaratna in Colombo and Beruwala on a warrant secured under instructions of attorney general; but the former minister was not found in those houses.
The police were not able to extract any specific information about the whereabouts of Mr. Rajitha Senaratna on inquiries made from householders there and as the attempt to taking him into custody proved futile, the said officers have returned. In the meantime, when the media called Mr. Chathura Senaratna on his mobile phone, a person who responded had said that Mr. Chathura Senaratna's phone connection was linked to his phone and that he is unaware of where he is.
All efforts taken taken by CID yesterday (25) to arrest former minister Mr. Rajitha Senaratna had come to nought. It is also reported that a survey is being launched to check whether he is taking refuge in some private hospital. The former minister Mr. Rajitha Senaratna has made an appeal to prevent him being taken into custody and the third bail application forwarded a third time to Colombo magistrate court is expected to be taken in for consideration next 30th.
