Forged documents circulate in social media that Gotabhaya has renounced American citizenship

Former secretary of defence is still an American citizen. As he could fill the gap of renouncing it to apply for Presidentship; evidence of it is quickly warranted by the political structure of Pohottuwa. Possibly for this reason a particular certificate was published across a number of pages on facebook in order to indicate his support for that party. 

What is mentioned in there is a certificate to say that Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has been removed from
citizenship of the American administration. This certificate contains significant data of Mr. Gotabhaya's name, names of those who confirmed his passport number and their designations.Though at first glance this appears to be an authenticated document, on further investigations it was found to be a forged document edited and prepared that way. 

In reality, the person who released this certificate had edited parts of a sample document in the Wikipedia website. Whatever it is, since certain dates have gone wrong during the editing process, it is further clear that this is a false document. The truth of this has been exposed through an article in today's (31) Daily Mirror nespaper. According to this forged document, though Gotabhaya Rajaaksa has obtained his citizenship on March 31st, 2003 it is a fact that he had got it on January 1st, 2003, the article spotlights. In the same manner, Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa's passport has been released by America in October, 2012; but the document records it as July, 2012. The name Joel Fulfield and his signature which appears in the Wikipedia sample have been copied in the false document.
