Revelation by Sajith about an assassination attempt on his life

Minister of housing and cultural affairs, Mr. Sajith Premadasa revealed about an attempt on his life at a function held yesterday. After minister Sajith's wife having delivered a sensational speech introducing herself as 'aaryawa' many a humorous expression began to spread within the media. 

What the minister said at a function held yesterday (17) in Elpitiya, Galle was that many people are
making an effort to prevent his onward path which is dedicated towards public service and that some people are trying to tarnish his image. 

"When swimming upwards some jackals keep hooting from either side of the banks. Our 'Udaagam programme too is a programme that is swimming upwards. But what is regrettable is that a pack of jackals on both sides of the banks keep on tarnishing various characters. How many criticisms? To say how many threats ... sometimes I wonder whether I would be assassinated ... there is so much anger welling. Jackals on both sides are keeping political grenades to be hurled at Sajith Premadasa".
