Hathurusingha and others of training-staff ... chased away

Sports minister Harin Fernando has informed in writing to the whole staff of training staff of the Sri Lanka cricket team to keep away after the one-day tournament expected to be played with the Bangladesh team in the near future. It has been stated in the letter that after their exit, attention would be paid regarding their contract. They have been given the last opportunity to function in their capacity for the one-day tournament to be
played with Bangladesh. 

Though the minister had spoken about changing this training staff even before the world cup defeat ... it was notified that changes would not be effected at the last moment. Whatever it is, Hathurusingha has told media a week before that he still has one more contract period to his credit and that he is not prepared to leave his position. What sports minister Mr. Harin Fernando further said was that a number of decisions have been taken for the enhancement of the game of cricket.
