Dog thrown out of house ... because its tail is twisted towards the left!

Dog thrown out of house ...
because its tail is twisted towards the left!

In present day society unlike in days gone by, those who pin their faith on mythological ideas are comparatively less. But not that there are no persons who are strongly attached to such ideas either.

The person under reference here is a middle-aged person. There are instances when he was to go on some journey he would turn back and come home if he happens to come across some person near his house. Whenever he meets a person carrying an empty pot or vessel or carrying something like mammoties, knives etcetera he would be inclined to believe that it is an ominous sign and resort to
postponing his journey. In fact the whole village know that this person is someone who lives with blind beliefs.

This person's house is situated close to a motorable road. From recent times he has begun to rear a dog. Push bicycles, motor cyclists as well as those going on foot on most occasions are seriously inconvenienced because of this dog because the dog would run behind them, thus obstructing their journey. When the owner of the dog is alerted on this situation, what he says is that the said dog would not bite and if it comes running from behind or barks, there is nothing so much to worry as such. However there are so many instances when schoolchildren have run in fright and have fallen down on the ground. This however came to an end with a certain strategy employed by some young men.

There incidentally is a person who has close association with him and who gets advice from him. If he says something ... it is carried out to the dot. Two young men happened to meet this person and requested for a solution to this dog's problem. What this person who is known as 'gurunnanse' said was, "That 'balukukka' came running behind me. Okay, I'll tell and see". So saying he undertook the contract.

One fine day gurunnanse went to the house concerned and just then the dog came forward barking and the house owner managed to take the dog away. Gurunnanse who was having a chat for a short while abruptly asked, "how is life these days?"  "Aney gurunnanse some little little problems. Even the two children have fallen sick. A tree has fallen down on the roof of the kitchen and the roof also is damaged. Then the price of pepper too has gone down. Not much money in the hands also". Immediately gurunnanse got a bright idea. "Didn't all those troubles began to increase after you started rearing that dog". No sooner he nodded in approval, gurunnanse trodded towards the dog relaxing in the yard and after coming back inside the house said, "this dog's tail is twisted to the left ... and that is highly malefic to the house. Don't do anything bad to the dog ... but as long as the dog is in the house ... problems will begin to aggravate". So saying he had left the house. the house owner's head began to twirl in many directions. Thinking that what he uttered was true, he gave this information to his wife and the following day itself took the dog in a three-wheeler to a distant location from where he was and came home after leaving the dog there. This was how the villagers of this town were relieved of this dog menace.
