"Players who have no discipline can't be forgiven" -- Angelo Matthews
Angelo Matthews says that he ad his team mates are getting ready to undergoing a good period of training for the one-day cricket tournament to be played against South Africa and that Sri Lanka Cricket disciplinary problems would be seriously taken into account.
Explaining his views to the media, this is what he said: "We are well-prepared for matches at hand. I believe that the confidence we had from the Tests, it stands us in good stead for the onedayers also.
But we can't take the South African team lightly at all. It is because they have players equipped with a lot of experience. We are really sorry about what happened about the discipline of players of the one-day team ... when losing a player at a time players are in high spirits. In the same way, if any player is falling back on his discipline ... we cannot forgive him for it. They maybe the best players in the team. But we cannot leave room for anti-disciplinary acts whatsoever.
The South Africa - Sri Lanka one-day tournament is composed of 5 matches and the first game would be commencing tomorrow at Rangiri Dambulla International Playground.
