Deepika Priyadarshani gets engaged to Chamika  ... who came to write songs

As we revealed some days back, the engagement ceremony of visharada Deepika Priyadarshani Pieris was conducted as a private ceremony yesterday the 27th. The partner who took her hand was a bank officer by the name of Chamika Kumara. 

Chamika  who is also a lyricist has written many popular songs such as 'mage denethata thenetha
thiya' sung by Deepika. During the time he has met her frequently to discuss about creations of songs for her, the romance has developed and it ultimately culminated in this charming moment leading towards matrimony. They are hoping to hold the wedding in a ceremonious manner towards the middle of next August.
