Only 3 in United Opposition trusts Ranil

According to the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Ranil which was handed over by the United Opposition to the speaker of the parliament with 51 signatures on it, was scheduled to be debated on the 4th of next month, party leaders who gathered today had
decided. The former President and Kurunegala MP had been present to appear for photographs at the moment the proposal was handed over but he had not placed his signature to the said document. In addition to him, United Opposition MPs such as Roshan Ranasingha and Siripala Gamlath too had refrained from signing.
Minister Kiriella has made an announcement to the effect that this proposal would come to nought and that it would definitely be defeated without a majority.

Chanaka, Namal Raapaksa, Prasanna Ranatunga, Rohitha Abeygooawardena, Sisira Jayakody, Piyal Nishantha, Premalal Jayasekera, Vidura Wickramanayaka, C.B.
