Kos malli's severed head found in Angunukolapelessa!

The body minus the head of Kos malli a leader of the underworld who was mysteriously murdered sometime back was exhumed from Gotabhayagama, Muravedihena in Angunukolapelessa today (19). According to a confession made by a person taken into custody on suspicion in relation to the incident, the police had located the paddy field where the said
corpse had been buried.The dead body was thus exhumed today in the presence of a magistrate and it was thus taken out.

Kos malli's head incidentally was discovered by police on the 7th inside a garbage pile in a by-lane in Abdul Hameed Street in Keselwatta area in Colombo. It was learned that deceased Kos malli was an intimate friend of Ranale Samayan who was an underworld leader of Kaduwela. Police suspect that this murder has been carried out by the gang directed and handled by Makandure Madhush who is active these days against him.

Some days before this, the owner of an establishment of renting out vehicles in Aluthkade by the name of Mohommed Riskan was shot dead and police suspect that as a matter of tit-for-tat the underworld gangster Kos malli's head would have been brought and dumped in the very area where Riskan was killed. Kos mali who was subjected to murder was an underworld gangster who incidentally was responsible for a number of crimes including homicides and 'kappam'. It was Ranale Samayan and Kos malli who were accused for having shot and killed Raththaran (a close associate of underworld leader Angoda Lokka). Some days back it was revealed that the hired killers had come to Keselwatta to murder Riskan on a motor bike belonging to Kos malli and in order to take revenge for it, Kos malli was killed at another location and his head was brought to Keselwatta and dumped there, police suspect. As such, 2 other underworld gangsters were arrested and they have exposed details about how the head was brought and deposited there. They had also mentioned about instructions given to bury the head and thus they had taken necessary action to bury it in a paddy field in Angunukolapelessa.

It was that part of the body which was exhumed today on that information so provided. Since investigations relating to the murder is still not over, police have not provided all information to the media as such. Location of where the head was found, from below
