The drug 'Viagra', a stimulant type of drug, has created a sensation these days in the political field; but medical explanations corresponding to the popularity of that drug are random. As it is a drug prescribed to elderly persons and perhaps because of shying away from knowing the relative facts, most of them having tried to experiment

with it in that connection, there is no alternative to the risks they face in that respect.

"The topic that has become the most popular drug used as a sexual stimulant within the parliament, the internet and the media happens to be the drug known as Viagra. As it is used beyond limitation, it appears that it is portrayed as an 'illicit drug' because of its popularity. International specialists point out that it promotes better sexual performance going beyond its genuine chemical activity. Viagra could be identified as the most popular drug among the young people throughout the last few decades. A different culture too has developed around Viagra. The reason for this is that the drug increases the desire for sex, the ability to engage in intercourse for a longer period and the increasing of the size of the sexual organ, all gaining popularity. However, researches say that all such factors do not occur as said.

It is further stated that those who suffer from erectile dysfunction reap no benefit whatsoever by using this drug. This drug called Viagra which is identified by the chemical name of Sildenafil was initially produced in Connacht Province in Britain. At the start it was produced as a form of treatment for diseases such as high blood pressure and heart trouble. It came to be known that when this drug is used, sexual stimulation in males used to occur and that its productivity, it was observed, has lessened in heart patients.

Subsequently, employing Sildenafil was begun to be used from the year 1998 as a drug for sexual impotence. The company concerned, presently earns an income of over $ 2 billion per year.
