Three-wheel young man's vulgar behaviour of gazing at attractive girl at super-market car park

News about Sri Lankan girls being subjected to abuse are to be heard constantly but a different type of incident was reported at a super-market close to Colombo recently.

An attractive girl had remained at the car-park until

her mother has gone to fetch goods at a super-market and come back where the girl has had to face this strange incident. She had not taken much of a notice of a three-wheel young man who had been gazing at her as if to 'swallow her up'. But a while later he had been behaving in a lewd manner from a distance. He was however not aware that he was being videoed by a dash cam inside the vehicle. The moment she directed it towards him, he had become utterly embarassed and thereby slowly moved away from there. She has posted this in the Facebook in English and it is as follows:

"I was remaining at the car-park in the vehicle until my mother returned after buying various articles from Arpico. I noticed a certain man behaving in somewhat of a strange manner. But I didn't think much about it because I was in the Arpico car-park. But I was wrong. This fellow brought his three-wheeler parked on the other side and parked it next to our car. Since I was pressing a button on my mobile phone, it was at a glance that I observed him. What happened ... I need not say. Anybody seeing the video can understand it. Earlier what I thought was that if I disregarded it he would go away. But why should we who are females always fall back? I instantly directed the camera fixed to the car in the direction of that culprit and started the recording. As soon as he noticed this he promptly made a getaway.

I immediately noted down the number of that person's vehicle and made a complaint at the police station. This will be a good lesson to those who say 'it's because you'll dress this way that these men behave like this'. Keep away by making unnecessary allegations at people. You yourselves will see that I was inside the vehicle. I was dressed modestly. I didn't expect this. Not only I ... no woman would expect something like this. It was the wrong woman whom this man tried to prey on. This time it was a lady who had a camera fixed on her vehicle whom he preyed on. On most occasions our females are scared to go to the police because of incidents like this ... shilly shally about it. Don't neglect things like this. Do something. Always keep your mobile phone in your hand and record whenever a thing like this happens. Give it to the police. If not, release it to the internet". The video that she had posted, from below
