Arjun Mahendra has gone to attend to a wedding ,did not vanish like Udayanga-Ranil

Today the COPE committee report on the bond scandal at the Central Bank which had directed charges against the former governor Arjun Mahendran the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe had answered to a question by Member of Parliament  Weerakumara Dissananayake.

"According to many media it had been published as if Arjun Mahendran had fled the country.What is
the truth of it?. When Arjun Mahendran had met me last week for the last time he had said that he needs to go the Singapore to attend to a wedding.He had said that like Udayanga Weeratunga he had not fled.

Adding further he had said that owing to this report the joint opposition has started to rise again and this reminds of a story that he had read in school.The Prime Minister had said that this type of a situation had arisen because of a yahapalanaya government.
