Dead body of student of Peradeniya  medical faculty found in a tank in Badulla

The Badulla has found a dead body on the afternoon of the 27th instant in a natural tank called black pool in Spring Valley estate in Badulla by the police. The police emergency unit had received a call which had prompted them to find this dead body.

The dead person has been identified as a 21 year old HA Jayan Kavishanka who is a student in the Peradeniya medical faculty.It is said that he had visited a relatives home with a friend in

Imbulgoda,Badulla.The two have gone to climb the Namunukula mountain and while returning they have gone to this natural Black Pool tank to bath.The friend had informed the police of this incident.

He had added that he was unaware how his friend had gone to the deep end of the tank in his statement made to the police..The police is conducting investigations and the body is to produced before the courts and for the postmortem.
