The thieves who burgled Channa Perera's dwelling  caught

It was reported that the other day a thief had broken into the actor Channa Perera's house located on Katuwawela road in Borelesgamuwa and burgled jewelry and other valuable items from his dwelling in broad daylight when no

one was at home.

The thief a notorious drug addict in the area had entered the house at around 11.30 am when no one  was in the house by breaking a grill in a window on the upper story and by  entering the house.He had burgled two gold chains, two gold rings and cash and bolted.

This action had been followed by a neighbours who had got together and arrested the drug addict  when he was trying to escape.This thief is a famous  drug addict from Ratmalana Telawela road.The drug addict and the  looted items had been handed over to the police.He had admitted that he theft was made by him.The police had arrested him and all burgled items belonging to the actor Channa Perera had been handed over to him.
