Dreaded cancer takes the life of Chandani daughter of Victor Ratnayake

The elder child of popular singer Dr Victor Ratnayake, Chandani Ratnayake has expired after battling with dreaded cancer decease for some time.She was 46 years old at the time of her demise.

She was also a talented singer. After giving birth to her first child

she had sung songs in appreciation. Her remains lies at her residence at Samanala Mawatha, Athurugiriya.

President Maithripala Sirisena had paid his last respects to her.
