Passport office to Battaramulla from next week

The department of immigration and emigration now housed in Punchi Borella is to be moved to a new location to the new office complex in Battaramulla on coming 29th.

It is reported that all dealings at the department

of immigration and emigration would be stopped for two days  from the 26th instant until the 29th instant when the normal work is due to commence.It is learnt that the new office is equipped with all modern  facilities.

The one day service would commence on the 30th August was made known by the related authorities.
