Wayamba teachers banned using mobile phones while teaching

The Minister of education of the Wayamba provincial council Sandya Kumara Rajapaksa has issued a directive to the affect that all teachers should refrain completely in using mobile phones while

indulged in teaching.

This rule has been sent to all Principals in the Wayamba province through the regional directors of education.

The Minister of education had said that complaints have been received from several persons scattered in the Wayamba province. The reason for this decision is for the obvious reason of lowering the productivity when teaching in progress. The Minister of education had also added that this banning of mobile phones would also undoubtedly benefit the students.
