Though Mahinda is not able to achieve the apex of his powers because of this Kethu influence in the proper manner as such, astrologers have pointed out that as he would come under the influence of Sikuru anthar dasa from the period January onwards in the year 2017, all obstacles would fade away, astrologers have indicated. Mr. Mapalagama Wimalaratna had stated that former President Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa would be experiencing a satisfactory period of time from the month of January next year according to the stars and and according to Astrology the Kethu effect affecting Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa would be over by the end of January 2017 and that after the Sikuru anthar dasa comes into effect something special could be looked forward to.
