Rohitha questioned for alleged misappropriation of funds from the Hambantota harbour

It is reported that the Member of Parliament for Kalutara district Rohitha Abeygunawardena had been questioned  for over two hours by the officers of the presidential commission for frauds and malpractices for the alleged misappropriation of funds at the opening

ceremony of the Hambantota Magampura harbour on the 16th instant.

It is reported by a responsible officer that Rohitha Abeygunawardena had arrived at the presidential commission for frauds and malpractices at 9 am and had left after 11.am.

It is learned that as the Minister of port services the member of parliament Rohitha Abeygunawardena had been summoned to question on the unprecedented expense incurred by the government at the time of the opening ceremony of the Magampura harbour.
