Wimal Weeravansha's protest ....

for getting down Sunny Leone to Sri Lanka

MP Wimal Weeravansha the leader of the Jathika Nidahas Peramuna has expressed his protest vehemently against Sunny Leone the

popular Bollywood sensual actress arriving in Sri Lanka next December to perform at a concert.

What Wimal Weeravansha had said at a press briefing today was that Sunny Leone is to arrive in the island under the patronage of a well-known owner of a network of a casino business and is to perform at a casino gambling centre belonging to him and that the actress coming over here and promoting gambling in Sri Lanka can in no way be considered suitable.

Wimal also says that he is waiting for a response from Atureliye Rathana Thero who voices that gambling should be swept away from Sri Lanka: "I can't imagine what's happening to the country. On one hand a twilight woman hands over a letter to the President asking him to legalise the profession of prostitution while on the other hand the government is going to give the o.k. for the rights of homosexuals. It's when the situation is such that Sunny is going to be brought here for promotion of gambling," he said.

Sunny Leone is expected to arrive this December for a performance to be held at Belize Casino down D.R. Wijewardena Mawatha at a concert at the casino restaurant there.
