The Avant Garde entire story fabricated is Police fiction -Minister Marapona

The Minister of Law an Order Tilak Marapona had quipped in Parliament yesterday the 04th instant that the Avant Garde  floating armoury vessel is one that is legal and the Police with change of government had surfaced this issue and  disclosed as illegal in order to score marks for the Police department.

The Minister Tilak Marapona had added that the Attorney General while discharging duties had been spot on and had made all decisions correctly  and legally and that he cannot recollect any activity that was wrong.He also had reiterated that the Avant Garde floating armoury had not been involved in any financial loss to the state.

The Minister had added this at the time the proposal was made to adjourn the debate of the activities of the Avant Garde.
