For such reasons Ministers resign as the government is of good quality

The deputy Minister of power and renewable energy Ajith P Perera had stated that the Ministers in the previous government had not resigned when their honesty was questionable but in this
government  is a much healthier one was proved when the Minister of Law & Order and Prison Reforms Tilak Marapona  had tendered his resignation  realising the a blunder he had made.

The resignation had been tendered as his views would hamper the ongoing investigations into the alleged Avant Garde floating armoury issue. He had also vouched that he would extent his cooperation for the on going investigations.

The deputy Minister Ajith P Perera had said that what is need to this government is Ministers who take responsibility. He  had reiterated that the responsibility should be displayed at all times.From this incident what is surfaced is that the government is extremely healthy.
