After the end of the disastrous election results of the Democratic Party of the recently concluded general election, several members who are already members of Pradeshiya and Palath sabha have thought that the party has no future and are thinking of shifting to other options leaving

The political circles are of the opinion that some have decided to join the united national party and some the United Peoples Freedom Party and other affiliated parties considering their future political careers.

In this contest it has revealed that these groups have had discussions and out of 09 members 05 have decided to join the UPFA while the other 04 have decided to join with the UNP.

Political circles reveals’ that these members have taken this decision for Implementation in the upcoming provincial council elections.
